We are only satisfied with the best taste possible for our customers. Therefore our journey startet 2 years ago with experimenting on our own “Zirbenschnapps” recipe. In Austria some producers of Stone Pine Schnapps exist, but the taste we expected was not for sale. So we decided to do it by ourselves. We searched and found a “Zirbenbockerl” supplier from Carinthia and tried the first combinations. Relatively fast one decisive question arrived. How many Zirbenbockerl must be devoted per one liter schnapps? For us the decision was clear from the beginning. We want to drink a Premium Product, so as many Zirbenbockerl as needed have to be put in to guarantee a typical and traditional “Zirben” taste and long lasting smell.
We created a traditional low sugar version called “Zirbnerin” and a sweeter version called “Stronghodl” for our Bitcoin and Crypto customers.
Pine schnapps is made from the pine cones of the “stone pine,” also known as “arve”. The essential oils and active ingredients are dissolved through maceration. It is particularly healthy for the lungs and respiratory tract. We decided to give the process of maceration the needed time of minimum 2 months. This is key and decides about the quality of our product.
The Pine tree (Pinus cembra) is a species of pine that is found in the Alpine regions of Europe and grows at higher altitudes in the mountains of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and France. It prefers dry, rocky soil and can be found at elevations ranging from 1,200 to 2,800 meters. It is known for its distinctive appearance and pleasant aroma. In traditional medicine, the Pine tree is also valued for its healing properties. Some of the health benefits of Pine Schnapps and its essential oils are anti-inflammatory effect, sleep-enhancing effect, reduction in cardiovascular risk, improvement in respiratory health and antimicrobial effects.
